Claas Nieraad

Claas H. Nieraad has been a Venture Capital Fund Manager and Venture Partner for 20 years. He invested globally in early stage B2B, deep-tech, supply chain and logistics StartUps that made an impact. He was responsible for Hamburg based NLA, a Multi-Corporate Venture Fund in Logistics, and acts as advisor for the High Tech Gründerfonds (HGTF) in Northern Germany. Further more Claas is an active Angel Investor and responsible for deal sourcing at the Baltic Business Angel Network. With his engagement as Mentor of Airbus BizLab, Google LaunchPad, Philips HiP and the Next Accelerators he is the "goto guy" when it comes to fundraising strategy and scaling StartUps internationally.

As a faculty member and shareholding partner of the European think tank of Futur.io, Claas is also responsible scouting technologies for moonshot thinking and desirable futures, therefore also a sought-after key-note speaker.

Furthermore Claas holds board positions with Olympus Europe (HH, Ger), Keeeb Inc. (MA, USA), Darvis Inc. (CA, USA) and the Baltic Business Angel Network e.V. (SH, Ger)
